V. RESPONSIBILITIES OF MANAGERS

In addition to the responsibilities defined for employees within the company culture, Birlik Galvaniz managers also have additional responsibilities. Accordingly, managers:

  • Are responsible for creating and maintaining a company culture and work environment that support ethical rules,
  • Must lead by example in implementing ethical rules through their behavior, and train their employees in ethical rules,
  • Should encourage their employees to submit questions, complaints, and notifications regarding ethical rules,
  • When consulted, must guide employees on what needs to be done, consider all notifications received, and if necessary, communicate them to the Board of Directors as soon as possible,
  • Must ensure that business processes within their responsibility are structured to minimize ethical risks and apply the necessary methods and approaches to ensure compliance with ethical rules

VII. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Senior management of the company is responsible for effectively implementing the Company Culture or, within this framework, the Business Ethics Rules specific to their respective companies and for creating a culture that supports these rules.

Birlik Galvaniz Human Resources;

  • Is responsible for informing employees about the Ethical Rules, ensuring the clarity of policies and rules by providing training at certain intervals, and maintaining continuous communication with employees on these issues,
  • Ensures that newly hired employees read the ethical rules, are informed about them, and sign the Employee Declaration,
  • Ensures that, at the beginning of each year, all employees renew their declarations by signing the Business Ethics Compliance Form

Birlik Galvaniz Management;

  • Is responsible for guaranteeing the confidentiality of complaints and notifications made within the framework of Ethical Rules and for protecting individuals following their notifications,
  • Ensures the job security of employees who submit notifications,
  • Guarantees that complaints and notifications are investigated in a timely, fair, consistent, and sensitive manner, and takes the necessary actions resolutely in the event of violations
